Shopping method
A simple way to compare a current deal
Separate genuine savings from temporary urgency by comparing the exact product, seller, conditions, and final total.
Ignore the large percentage first
A discount percentage is meaningful only when the reference price and included configuration are clear. Compare the product with the same model elsewhere rather than relying on a crossed-out number.
Check whether the offer applies automatically or requires a code, account, app, minimum spend, or specific payment method.
Build a like-for-like basket
Use the same model, color, capacity, warranty, and delivery destination on both routes. Include shipping, tax, and accessories before deciding which option costs less.
If one listing includes a case, mount, spare part, or extended support plan, treat it as a different offer.
Check timing without relying on pressure
Promotions can end without a countdown timer. Review the retailer's terms and current stock, then decide whether you would still buy at the final total if the extra discount disappeared.
Keep the final order record
Before paying, confirm the seller, item, delivery date, and return window. After checkout, keep the receipt and any serial-number information in case support is needed.
